I made this Amethyst necklace mostly from brown Amethyst stone, Brown square glass beads with natural brown color and Gold edge and some metal spacers. This mix stones and beads, all in the same Brown color looks so pretty in harmony. This is a long size necklace. And you do not need a hook.
